SOUNDBOARDS
Sitka Spruce, 1st grade, AAA. Best for steel string guitars. Very tough and strong. It ranges in color from pink, light brown, and only occasionally the yellow color in above photo. Lower grades have color variation, and are not as well quartersawn. Two pieces, bookmatched.
Engelmann Spruce, 1st grade, AAA. Good for steel string guitars, and best for classic sizes. Lighter in weight, softer, but usually whiter in color than other spruces. Lower grades have color variation, and are not as well quartersawn. Two pieces, bookmatched.
